Trailer registration
Utility, cargo and equipment trailers use the Trailer category. Have the trailer’s weight classification and ownership records ready so you can complete the relevant questions before adding it to the order.

Use the right trailer category
A towable travel trailer belongs in the RV / Motorhome & Travel Trailer selector’s Travel Trailer branch. Utility, cargo and equipment trailers use Trailer. The categories ask different questions, so start with the type that matches the unit.
Verify the weight category
The Trailer quote distinguishes units under six thousand pounds from those six thousand pounds or more. Use the appropriate vehicle classification records and ask the team if you cannot determine the correct answer. Guessing can lead to an inaccurate quote and additional review.
Gather identifying documents
Retain the title, manufacturer’s certificate, purchase paperwork, available registration and trailer VIN information. A homemade unit or missing-title situation needs review against its actual records; do not treat an inspection or an incomplete bill of sale as automatic approval.
Add each trailer deliberately
Finish the ownership and weight questions, review the itemized summary and click Add to Cart. Additional trailers can be quoted separately in the same order. Saved drafts remain available to resume but do not increase the cart count or billable total.
